Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

Grooming

The times before this last grooming appointment we never had any problems. This time our dog was groomed by Alyssa. I tried to contact the grooming manager but was greeted by a very rude employee when I asked who groomed my dog and if I could speak with the manager. I explained to her that I think Alyssa needed to get new clippers because my dog has cuts on him and razor burns around his genitals now. She said oh yeah I remember that, it was there before we worked on him. I told her that was not the case. She abruptly put me on hold and Alyssa came to the phone, I explained I was waiting for the manager. She just put me on hold, then again on hold and it then went to a voicemail. Needs less to say these ladies need some training with customer service. If they are treating me this way imagine how they treat your animals. It could have been easily resolved with a im so sorry about that is he ok. I will definitely check my blades. Something so simple as an apology but nope just rudeness.

extremely upset

I brought my greater Swiss mountain dog in to be groomed last week Tuesday Jamie is always wonderful my dog loves to go and see her. Normally I have a great experience but recently I have had problems with my dog coming home with a big scab on his head. unfortunately, this time he came home and he was sick. I have called corporate and waiting for a callback from them. If he still is not better today I’m going to take them in to the vet. Not sure what to even tell him he is yelping when you touch his face and has not been normal since I brought him home trying to find out if any other pups got sick. I’m very frustrated to say the least very hard to tell that the scab on his head is there, but when it falls off the hair comes with it, so he has a bald spot on usually last quite a while . We were thinking it could be the crate and him jumping up and barking, but I don’t understand why this happened for the third time maybe more

Experienced groomers, very accommodating

My groomer was Alyssa. She was so good with my elderly dog. She really showed concern for him and his safety while grooming him in his old age. I went here for several years. I would recommend Alyssa. She did a wonderful job cutting his hair, he was a Yorkie. Also, when he passed she as well as the other groomer showed genuine sympathy for our lose.

Not very good service.

My dog had to be put to sleep. You told us she had an infection and a heart murmur,as it turned out, it was a raging infection, and the heart murmur was alot worse than you told us, I guess she wouldve gotten better care if we'd have spent more money in there. You wanted us to do an expensive X-ray that we couldn't afford, it would have done her no good anyway, I was not pleased with your service, and since my dog was put down, I won't come there again. If she lived, I'd never bring her there again anyway.

Worst!!

I have been bring my German Shepard to this Petco for 13 years for grooming. For the last year my dog has not been able to use her back legs but they had no issues grooming her. Today I brought her there and the groomer said he wouldn't groom her because his policy is that the dog must be able to move from one table to the next. The rest of the groomers have been taking care of her but this one groomer apparently has the ability to decide the rules of his job. I called ahead of time to remind them that my dog could not use her back legs and they said it would not be a problem. I will never go to this Petco again.

Champion Lamb-chop

The sweater has been by far the best sweater I’ve purchased for my dog and probably the best size too. Usually everything is either too big or too small for her. The champion hoodie is just right , it’s soft , and warm enough for my dog. Looks great too with the logo and I love that it has the strings on the hood to tighten up. Lamb chop is my dogs favorite toy. I keep washing it over and over but I’m glad that when I do want to replace it , I am always sure that you have it.
