"Dr. Wilson began her veterinary career as a Registered Veterinary Technician at Louisiana State University in equine ICU. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, the West Indies where she graduated with high honors and received her DVM degree in 2005. Following graduation, Dr. Wilson joined the Louisiana Department of Corrections with Prison Enterprises where she served as the veterinarian that was responsible for overseeing the preventative and medical care of a large variety of domestic and farm animals. In 2006, Dr. Wilson then purchased Feliciana Veterinary Hospital in Jackson, Louisiana where she practiced as the sole practitioner until late 2019. In 2020, Dr. Wilson relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to continue her veterinary career.Dr. Wilson loves all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and emergency critical care. In her free time, Dr. Wilson loves spending quality time with her son, Lane, and daughter, Peytan Grace, and her two dogs. Her favorite hobbies include going to the beach and traveling (especially out of the country)."
