Veterinarian Spotlight
Dr. William Wagner

Dr. William Wagner started dreaming of his career helping animals when he was a young boy, as he loved all animals and wanted to help them anyway he could. Little did he know, he would end up being a very skilled Veterinarian and would help hundreds of animals during his career.
Dr. Wagner started his goal of becoming of Veterinarian by working in the animal field as a kennel assistant while he was in high school. While working hard going to high school and working as a kennel assistant, his dream was finally starting to come true, as he was accepted into Veterinarian School at Ohio StateUniversity (OSU) to begin his journey of education.
Dr. Wagner is now the Hospital Medical Leader and has been a skilled Veterinarian with TCVMA and FVMA memberships. Dr. Wagner focuses his medicine on treating dogs and cats and always aims to find the correct diagnosis and treatment while also delivering love and care to pets as well as their owners.
Dr. Wagner does have a life outside of practicing veterinary medicine and is honored to be a part of the Sebastian Area Historical Society and Youth Guidance of Indian River County. Dr. Wagner also enjoys going fishing, scuba diving, and hiking in his time off, of course when he is not with his own pets, which are King Charles Cavaliers, and they are his pride and joy.
Dr. Wagner still loves what he does every day and over the years, he has found that day-to-day life as a veterinarian will keep one on their toes, as there is never a dull or mundane moment. Dr. Wagner says “When you think you have seen it all, something new walks through the door, even after 37 years. I am fortunate to be able to help those that do not have a voice, and that is indeed why I do what I do.”
Dr. Wagner welcomes clients and their pets so he can help them, too, with visits from yearly wellness exams and vaccinations to pets that are sick and are in need of a diagnosis, treatment, love, and care.
