    Dr. Abigail Pagel serves as Hospital Medical Leader at the Petco veterinary hospital in Redlands, where she treats dogs and cats alongside rabbits, birds, reptiles, and other small pets. She brings a wide clinical range to the role, from dentistry and dermatology to endocrinology, neurology, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, with particular skill in supporting exotic and avian patients. What sets her apart is a deep focus on the human-animal bond, and she makes a point of including pet parents directly in their pet's care so families feel informed and confident every step of the way. Outside the hospital, she enjoys reading, embroidering, and playing music with her church band.
