Many varieties of freshwater fish come in an array of colors, making it easy to customize your aquarium's look and feel. We carry an array of species from aggressive and semi-aggressive to schooling fish, so you can find the right fish to fit the size and style aquarium you want. First-time pet parents often choose to take home a betta, as they are beautiful to look at and make a great species for those getting started with aquarium keeping. In some states, we also carry other types of aquatic life, such as live plants and invertebrates.
Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

Pallets of freight every where yet never in stock of what my pet eats! Service is not allowed. No wonder brick and mortar is declining. You folks need some help!!

Grooming in west bountiful

I had an appointment for my dog at 11:00. I went in to get his vaccination records from the vets and apparently they move around… I told the lady to cancel my appointment then my husband was able to get me the records by text I went back in with the records it was 11:03 when I went back into the grooming office. The girl was busy in there and so when she came out it was 11:10 I asked her if she can still take my puppy she said she was booked for the day. I said I already had an appointment at 11:00 so it’s only minutes she brushed me off and said I’m busy… so disrespectful. I’m not taking my dog there. I was treated disrespectfully and I can’t even think about how my puppy would have been treated in there

Incredible Staff!

Staff here is helpful and friendly, often when I come in the aquatics specialist is singing to himself. All the staff are knowledgeable about animals and their needs. Joseph the cashier is especially friendly and always greets you saying it's "the best day ever."

Petco is my favorite store for my animals!! They have everything you need from dog and cat supplies to small animal and reptile supplies. :) The staff is super friendly and helpful !!!
