Many varieties of freshwater fish come in an array of colors, making it easy to customize your aquarium's look and feel. Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

Awesome in-person experience with Carole

Carole saw Jetta ♥️, our labradoodle, and us strolling through the store looking for a car harness. Carole tried several car harnesses on Jetta and they just weren’t the right fit. Then she suggested using a walking harness and a seat belt strap together. Carole spent a good deal of time with us. We walked out of the store with just what we needed. That harness will serve double duty in the car and on a walk. Thank you so much Carole. We’re impressed with the time you spent with us and your knowledge and love for dogs.

Awful Grooming

Took my fluffy small dog into get his haircut and he came out looking like a dog I did not even recognize. Got rid of every single one of his whiskers which I DID NOT ASK FOR!! I am very unhappy with the outcome and will never take my dog to get his haircut here again.

Best pet store in the Bethlehem area

I will not deny that there are frequent stock issues at the store but I can guarantee that if you come back in a week or two if the item you have requested was out of stock at your visit you will be able to purchase the item. I do a lot of delivery work and I have seen all of the pet stores within the ABE area and honestly I think this Petco carries the most variety of food for many different types of pets; I am personally a cat person and this Petco has always said not just what I was looking for but so much more! I know that is also true for many dog owners I know and it’s great that we have such easy access to such a wide assortment of pet products!! Extremely clean and well organized with very helpful staff!
