Staff Fighting A Problem For Customers
When I entered your store, there was a young woman who was happy to greet me, and help me find what I needed in the aisles of your store. A few moments later, another young female colleague, with bright red hair, stood in the middle of the store and yelled at the woman who was helping me that she shouldn’t have left the register, and she needs to return to the register. This verbal chastising was witnessed by multiple customers who were staring at the incident. on my way out, I mentioned to the red haired colleague, that there’s got to be a better way to handle such a situation in the future, and that I strongly suggest she checks in with your HR department or employee handbook for pointers on how to. The red haired colleague stood at her register with her mouth agape as if she had never considered that yelling at her colleague was a bad idea or against any kind of company policy. This scares me a bit for the culture that you are creating at Petco that she seem to think that her behavior was completely appropriate. I would strongly suggest that you check in with the red haired colleague and make it clear what she should have done differently instead, if in fact Petco does agree with me that that could’ve been handled differently.

Karen in grooming is fantastic
We have been using Karen in grooming for Bella and Sophie for seven years. Our girls get groomed every six weeks. They enjoy the great care and attentiveness of Karen. She is top shelf.

Liz was great
My daughter and I stopped in to pickup some substrate for a betta tank, we ended up buying a betta, lots of plants and decorations because of Liz's great help. She was patient, knowledgeable, and polite.

Poor customer service
After being treated very poorly in this store I contacted Petco customer service requesting to speak to a district manager. I was informed that it may be 24-48 hours before someone contacted me but there were no guarantees that someone would. I wrote a review on google and it was taken down. I sincerely doubt this will stay up. It has now been more than 48 hours and no one has responded to my complaint. Shop at your own risk. If something you ask or if you want clarification on something, and it is offensive to an associate be prepared for passive aggressive treatment. I left feeling as though I had been gaslighted. This company is either not interested in the customer experience or just doesn’t care. I did not use my full name in the initial review because I was sincerely concerned about retaliation from the employee. We live in a relatively small town. The fact that I am truly concerned about this says quite a bit about the interaction!

Not happy customer
The two guys didn’t know how to take my rewards and I wound up loosing the 130.00 rewards I earned . I really needed the coupons that’s why I signed up !

Horrible experience
I was in the Keene store to return a vibrating collar I bought for my dog that did not work. I arrived with my fiancé and my 15 month old son in my arms and met with a young lady at the counter (don't know her name, but she had redish hair). I let her know what I was doing there and mis-spoke calling the collar a shock collar to which she continued to tell me they do not carry those, even though I eventually told her it was a vibrate collar, she continued to tell me very rudely that they do not carry them. When I tried to point out where they were in the store, she snapped saying she was getting someone else to help us and shut me down. Once the manager came up, I let him know about the experience, and she once again snapped and yelled don't be a jerk and have Merry Christmas in a super sarcastic way. I was not rude or short in anyway with her. All this while I was holding my baby in my arms in front of her. In my 40 years here, I can honestly say I have never experienced such poor customer service. Hopefully the manager addressed this that day, but he did not seem concerned about it when he watched it happen.

OMG
I went to the Keene, NH store today. First I was followed around by one of the employees. She said nothing, just watched me. Then apparently I was in her way since she kept tapping her foot at me and huffing. The I asked another employee was something was, he took me there then just stood there saying nothing while I checked the product out. Guess what? I left!
