Petco Dog Grooming in Lidgerwood

Petco has groomers who specialize in grooming cats at select locations. Not every location offers cat grooming. Please call your salon for more information about scheduling and pricing. Or to book an appointment for your cat call (509) 503-9017 for more information.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of animal care and safety in the industry, as developed under the supervision of our Director of Veterinary Medicine, with counsel from several independent experts in animal care, behavior and ethics.

A few ways we ensure your pet's safety in the grooming salon is by:

• Completing a comprehensive 7-Point Pet Care Check for every pet upon check-in to ensure nothing looks or feels abnormal
• Dog-to-dog contact is prevented while pets are in the salon
• Salons are cleaned & disinfected throughout their entire visit
• Using ramps or steps for senior dogs to get into the tubs or bathe really large dogs on the floor
• Providing industry-standard comfortable and safe kennels
• Utilizing the Groomer's Helper tool, designed to help safely maintain control of your pet's body and head while on the grooming table

Typically, a grooming session ranges from 2-4 hours. The duration of a grooming session varies based on your pet's size and the chosen service. At check-in or when calling, your groomer can give you an estimated finish time.

For smaller services like nail trims that don't require a full grooming session, they usually take about 5 minutes. While appointments might not be essential given salon availability, we suggest contacting your nearby salon to ensure availability.

If you prefer dedicated attention from a specific stylist with minimal kennel and waiting time, consider requesting the VIP Treatment upon arrival. This option is particularly beneficial for dogs prone to anxiety and brachycephalic breeds, including French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boxers.

To ensure the well-being of our guests and grooming team, we ask for up-to-date vaccination records based on your pet's age. Here's what's needed:

Dogs

• Under 16 weeks: Minimum of 2 rounds of puppy starter vaccines covering distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus.
• 16 weeks and above: Rabies vaccine.

Cats

• Under 16 weeks: Vaccinations for parvovirus, herpesvirus type-1, and calicivirus.
• 16 weeks and above: Rabies vaccine.

Kindly ensure there's a gap of at least 24 hours between the vaccine's administration and the grooming session. If you're uncertain, reach out to your local Petco salon to verify the required vaccinations before your pet's appointment.

Vaccination records out-of-date? Check out Petco Veterinary Services for a nearby Petco walk-in vaccination center.

After an appointment is booked, a questionnaire will be sent inquiring of any special needs or specific sensitivities. Petco groomers are trained to handle various pet needs, and they will work with you to ensure a positive experience for your pet.

Costs vary depending on the type, size, and breed of the pet, as well as the specific services required. Contact the Lidgerwood store at (509) 503-9017 or visit the Petco website for detailed pricing information.
