• Salons are cleaned & disinfected throughout their entire visit
• Using ramps or steps for senior dogs to get into the tubs or bathe really large dogs on the floor
• Providing industry-standard comfortable and safe kennels
• Utilizing the Groomer's Helper tool, designed to help safely maintain control of your pet's body and head while on the grooming table

Typically, a grooming session ranges from 2-4 hours. The duration of a grooming session varies based on your pet's size and the chosen service. At check-in or when calling, your groomer can give you an estimated finish time.

For smaller services like nail trims that don't require a full grooming session, they usually take about 5 minutes. While appointments might not be essential given salon availability, we suggest contacting your nearby salon to ensure availability.

If you prefer dedicated attention from a specific stylist with minimal kennel and waiting time, consider requesting the VIP Treatment upon arrival. This option is particularly beneficial for dogs prone to anxiety and brachycephalic breeds, including French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boxers.

To ensure the well-being of our guests and grooming team, we ask for up-to-date vaccination records based on your pet's age. Here's what's needed:

Dogs

• Under 16 weeks: Minimum of 2 rounds of puppy starter vaccines covering distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus.
• 16 weeks and above: Rabies vaccine.

Cats

• Under 16 weeks: Vaccinations for parvovirus, herpesvirus type-1, and calicivirus.
• 16 weeks and above: Rabies vaccine.

Kindly ensure there's a gap of at least 24 hours between the vaccine's administration and the grooming session. If you're uncertain, reach out to your local Petco salon to verify the required vaccinations before your pet's appointment.

After an appointment is booked, a questionnaire will be sent inquiring of any special needs or specific sensitivities. Petco groomers are trained to handle various pet needs, and they will work with you to ensure a positive experience for your pet.
