Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

I bought an outfit for my dog that didn’t fit. The cashier was like you can bring it back anytime. Keep the receipt. I go to return and it’s over 1 day from 30 days and there was a holiday and the store was closed she wouldn’t let me return or do store credit. To bad pretty much your stuck with an outfit that doesn’t fit. She had the nerve to say just donate it to someone. Ok yeah how about I just don’t shop there.

Just want to say what an wonderful experience my dog Milo had on Sat 8/20/22 with Karley. This was the first time having him groomed by a new groomer and I could not be happier. He looked and smelled WONDERFUL!!! I have to admit I was a little nervous but after picking him up and seeing his little stub - stub wagging away I was so happy. Thank you Karley

Complete lack of Service

I received an email to pick up my curbside order. Waited 20 minutes, called numerous times and no answer. Another person said there is a SMALL sign on the door closed for staffing issues. New hours 9 to 6. Website not updated and no notice! won't be going there again. Always an issue. Time to find a different store chain.

Lame dogs are not welcome

I made an appointment for my dog who is lame and is recovering. He received laser treatments for his leg. They are ongoing to try to rehab his leg. I made an appointment for grooming and explained it all. When I got to the store I not only felt unwelcome they looked for every excuse not to groom him. His rabies were not sent,well I have them info they never called my vet. Then saw the limp and said their policies is they don't do injured dogs. I told them I explained on booking. They refused service saying the don't cut lame dogs. It's policy. Pet Smart was happy to groom my dog. Lame just requires more care they said. So I will bad use everyone about your policies. Which I believe are truly a bad,bad thing. Lame dogs not welcome!!
