Many varieties of freshwater fish come in an array of colors, making it easy to customize your aquarium's look and feel. First-time pet parents often choose to take home a betta, as they are beautiful to look at and make a great species for those getting started with aquarium keeping. Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

Good customer service, baad service on animal

I bought a ferret from this store yesterday Dec. 24. I GOT NO PAPER WORK ON HER! I DONT KNOW HOW OLD SHE IS OR WHEN HER BIRTHDAY IS, NOTHING. Every ferret I have bought i got all the info on it even the shot records...I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE AGAIN (ANIMAL WISE). The customer service was great and the worker was very nice though.

Horrible experience

I have been a loyal customer for 7 years. Never had an issue until now. They've canceled, forgotten to put appointment in their system or plain did not show up to work the last 3 appointments. Today was my last. Jessica, the so called manager started to groom my Izzy then decided she wouldn't continue because izzy has matted hair. If they wouldn't have canceled the last 3 appointments, Izzy wouldn't be so matted. This is how she looked when I picked her up compared to the last grooming by Tammy. Never will I go there again! Never would recommend Jessica!

Groomer totally shaved dog down

Brought my small long haired dog in to be groomed. I know that she was matted, she always is when I bring her. But they have always been able to leave hair on at least her ears and tail if not her face. This time they completely shaved her whole body. And she is so nervous that she shakes in a 76 degree room and won’t let me away from her. And then they charged me $50 for a long hair groom and $7 apiece for two anti matting sessions.The manager stood by the groomers. I’ve never taken her there on a Saturday before,they were busy and just rushed doing her. I’m never going back, it’s not just the haircut, my dog was frightened by the treatment she received there, that’s the really bad thing. Will never go back.
