Grooming at Petco.
Laura has become one of our dogs best friends. She goes wild at the store when she sees Laura. Her grooming is super good and competitively priced. We have never had a better experience. You will be extremely fortunate to have Laura as your groomer.

Excellent service!
I take my cat Angelo every other month for grooming, everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The grooming is done quickly and never a scratch or cut on the cat.

Rude rude rude
I have had 2 bad experiences from the staff at the grooming department. The lady that has been there the past 2 times is so rude and short. She has no manners and spoke to me like I was an idiot. Will never go back here again and I would NOT recommend that you take your dog to get groomed at the Merrimon location.

Harness exchange resulted: poor customer service.
The harness was of low quality, the padding “rolled” away from the nylon strap and rubbed the nylon strap directly on my puppy when I tried using it causing pain and abrasion to my puppy. The harness was only tried on 3 times with the same effect, it was spotlessly clean and I put it and tag for it in a zip lock bag to keep it clean. I exchanged it for a better harness and paid more money. The two young females with dyed hair at the register were rather cold and rude behavior that I had to exchange it. They did not care that I took precautions to keep the new harness clean with the tag in the plastic bag. It was uncomfortable experience as I was positive and explained why I was exchanging it. The two employees at the check out did not care.

price on the floor, not the same at register
Purchased Worlds Best Litter today. Price on the floor said $15.99. Rachel rung me up at $16.99, even after scanning my petco card. When i brought this to her attention she could not be bothered to help me with it. She said she couldn't help me and she was having a really bad day. I was also having a pretty bad day and i should have asked for a manager, but i was in a hurry as well. She said do you want the litter or not? Just rude and completely unhelpful. Every other time i've been in that store folks are friendly and helpful. Not today. I hope this can be used as a teaching moment, i don't want her to be reprimanded or lose her job over it. Just learn from this and try to do better for people. I was not being mean or aggressive. But, I also told her i wasn't asking her to do anything that wasn't part of her actual job!

Horrible Selection of Reef fish, corals & supplies
I currently have a 120 Gallon reef tank. Which I like to stock up on. Most of the time the tanks are filthy with algae or red slime. The fish are often sick and look malnourished. I don’t have a pic of Petcos tank right now but can get one. HOWEVER! There is one employee that is amazing. Owning a 120 gallon reef tank, I spend a lot of money there, IF JASON IS WORKING. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, humble, and kind. Please do whatever it takes to keep him and hire more like him!

Terrific Experience
I took my Boxer into the Merrimon Avenue store yesterday. Every employee in the store was kind, courteous, pleasant and helpful. Alana was kind enough to walk me to my car with the big box. I will definitely be back for future needs. Further, I found my cat’s food Katzflocken, which is carried in few places. The peanut butter treats are a huge hit! Thank you all for a great experience!!!
