Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

Bad fish

I wouldn't buy another fish from this company ever again.they sold me a fish with white spots on it.and won't do anything for me.i would have to drive 3hrs back to there store and get the treatment for it.no refund...had the fish not even 10hrs.bad business.i spent 700.00 worth of product from petco...lost a good valuable customer.

Absolutely Will never come back!

Drove 45 mins for nail trim for two dogs and was told that I had to schedule appointment. Mentioned website says walk ins need not to book appointment for nail trim. Was told this was corporates page not actual store policy and I could book an appointment for the following day! Garbage! Checked BANGORS pet o page and it says the same thing walk ins welcomed for nail trim

Poor customer service

Originally had a grooming appointment schedule for 3:30pm. For some reason they moved it to 2:30pm. When I got the notification about the schedule change I called them to fix it since we could not get out of work in time for a 2:30 appointment. They said the best they could do was 3pm. I told them I’d probably be late but I’d try to make that work. As expected, I ended up running late. I let them know I was running late. Got all the way there from Hampden and was told I had to reschedule for two weeks from now. I understand they have busy schedules and running late is on me but I originally scheduled the appointment for 3:30pm and they forced me to move it to a time that I had informed them I’d be late to. The groomer I spoke with was also very rude to my wife and I when I tried to explain the situation to her. We’ve come to this groomer for years and it’s disappointing to be treated that way. All the groomers are new and we have not had a great experience since the change in personnel.

You used to give us a half price discount on the doggy pee pads. They are very expensive and this discount was wonderful. That is why we came to your store. We would buy other items too. Will likely not come as much or not at all now.

Treated TERRIBLE over $600 purchase

Terrible service trying to find help and even been refused help by three diffrent employees.(all to busy unloading boxes passing me off to the next person. Purchase of over $600 i was about to being my biz somewhere else until a nice man stepped up to help on the time of his brake .on top of it knowing exactly the four items we wanted it took an hr and a half to finally check out
