Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

I met w Nicole for indiv dog training. I have a dog who fears other dogs so Nicole will focus her attn on that in addition to the basics. I have high hopes Nicole can teach me and my dog how to interact w other dogs.

New layout

The new layout makes it more difficult to enter and exit the store. It is not aesthetically appealing and makes me not want to enter or come back.

Was treated very rudely by store employee

My wife and I went to Petco this morning to purchase some pet supplies. We arrived. Due to the construction it was difficult to know if the store was open, but there were signs saying it was open during construction and the front door was open. So we went in. The first employee we encountered informed us the store wasn't open yet, but would open in three minutes. I asked if we could simply remain in the store as they were opening in less than three minutes. Another employee approached. This person seemed to be the manager as the first employee deferred to her. I again asked if we could just continue shopping as the store was opening within two minutes. This person rudely stated I had to leave. Although I felt this was a silly request I turned to leave saying nothing, intending to wait. This employee continued to be rude, lecturing me about entering the store, though the door was open, and how I wouldn't go into her car even if it were unlocked. I informed this person she were being unnecessarily rude. I walked away astonished at the rudeness, and the simple lack of professionalism and customer service. I don't intend to shop at this Petco again.
