I had a terrible experience at this location today. When checking out I realized that the dog jackets I had picked were more expensive than I had thought and said I would put them back for her before I left (probably misplaced by customers. Not the staffs fault at all). When explaining I didn’t want them the lady at the register kept cutting me off and being confrontational. I gave her my name and number as I was checking out my other stuff. When I hit the “no” button on the machine (still distracted while trying to explain the dog jacket situation) the lady responding with “why do you keep hitting no on there. Do you not want your number in the system” very aggressively and reached around the counter to the machine. I was very upset by the interaction as it felt demeaning. I don’t believe I’ll be returning to this location.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Petco, and I feel compelled to share it. On Sunday, I visited their self-dog wash station with my two dogs and my 1-year-old toddler in tow. To my dismay, the staff was far from understanding or flexible when it came to the dynamics of managing both dogs and a toddler. I was repeatedly reprimanded for my toddler wandering and playing with dog toys, despite the fact that she was simply being a toddler. It's not uncommon for young children to explore, and she wasn't being disruptive or causing any harm. Yet, I was scolded each time she stepped away from my side, as though I was being irresponsible. To make matters worse, anytime I briefly left my dogs (who were safely tethered and calm in the wash station) to retrieve my toddler, I was again reprimanded. It was incredibly frustrating to be treated as though I was neglecting my responsibilities, when in reality, I was trying to balance two pets and a young child in a space that simply isn’t accommodating for families. This experience highlighted that Petco is not family-friendly and seems to lack an understanding of the challenges that come with caring for both pets and children. Instead of offering any support or showing flexibility, the staff followed rigid rules and made me feel like I was constantly in trouble. Both my dogs and toddler were well-behaved, and I was just trying to get through the process without incident, but the staff made it feel like an ordeal. If you're a parent who wants to take your kids to Petco, be prepared for a lack of compassion and a strict, no-exceptions attitude. I won’t be returning anytime soon, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone looking for a more family-friendly environment.

The cashier front lady was very rude to my mother and I. We are bring in our dogs to get their nails trimmed once every three to four weeks. Today, she chose to confront my mother and I , who were waiting in line to be seen by groomer. She rudely walked up and asked “Can I help you ?” When we told her we were simply getting checked in for groomer she yelled saying that she works there and has the right to confront us. What type of customer service is this? She has confronted us on multiple occasions when we come in and it’s always with an attitude. This review is only for the front cashier lady with the reddish orange hair. I have asked for management to contact me. I give Alexis and all the grooming workers 5 stars because they have been nothing but kind and professional. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this petco anymore ! Don’t believe me? I have nothing but positive things to say about this Petco. I've been bringing my puppy here for training with Laurie and he absolutely loves her. He has learned a lot and we continue to take classes with her. Z looks forward to learning from her and her methods are really effective. She always explains everything and helps to break down assumptions made about dog breeds. With our pitbull puppy, a lot of people in our various classes automatically assume him to be an aggressor - Laurie always talks about the importance that owners play in the management and training of their dogs. We just love her so much. Today I brought him in for his first grooming appointment and he loved Kasey who was his groomer. It was his first time and she was so sweet with him. He seemed happy to see me but not afraid or ready to leave, as he has come to love his Petco family. Everyone at the store always says hi to him where were here. We love this place!

I was helped by a cashier lady today, and asked if I had a number for rewards, which I replied, "no". However, the cashier lady instead proceeded to type in in keys that counted up to a phone number. I requested the receipt and am holding it for record keeping; to verify if a phone number was added, after I said "no" to the cashier lady. Customers, please keep an eye on your transactions and question odd things. It is not right for anyone to benefit from another without their consent.

Self service wash: easy process, you pay $20 at the register and head to the Groomers station in the back with your receipt. They provide you with a basket that has towels (2), shampoo, brushes, an apron and an adjustable leash to tie up your dog (there's a hook in the wall). The washing station is easy to use as well. Plenty of space between the washing stations. They didn't mention any time limits. When you're done you place the towel and apron in the bin and return the basket with items at the groomers station where you checked in.
