Petco does accept unwanted fish. If you have a healthy freshwater fish you can no longer care for, you can bring it to your local Petco for donation. It is wise to call ahead to check if that location is able to accept a fish donation at that time, as they may have limited space available for donated fish. Before you choose to adopt a fish or group of fish, make sure you know everything involved so you are fully prepared to care for your pets. Petco guarantees returns of freshwater aquatic life inside a designated time frame. For 30 days, you can receive a full refund for freshwater fish purchased in our Pet Care Centers. All fish should have a properly established habitat; a receipt is required, and we recommend providing a water sample with your return. By testing your water, we can help check if your tank is ready for another fish, or if it may need some work to prepare it for a new fish.

3rd time was not the charm

I have tried to order wet dog food 3 times now. Cancelled my order after i placed and then delivered one item. That item was ordered just to add on. I couldn’t cancel my order either for the one stupid item. Getting frustrated because i keep trying and you guys can’t seem to get it togther with this.

Phenomenal first grooming experience!

Phenomenal first grooming experience! Jessica & her assistant took the time to interact with us & our 9 month old Newfoundoodle pup before we left, so we had peace of mind that he felt safe with them. Jessica asked several questions to ensure the type of cut we wanted was accurate, and offered some informative options & suggestions. She went over how the process should go, but also advised of potential alternative outcomes, and verified a plan for that. He was done sooner than expected & looked better than I could've possibly imagined! I honestly thought he'd look ugly with his curls gone, but it was not too short, she kept the cute doodle head, and he looked & felt like a silky sherpa blanket! Also, we struggled to weigh him on their mobile floor scale mat upon arrival, so initially he was priced at the 65 lb rate, but during the appt. they weighed him on the vet scale & he was actually 83 lbs, which is a higher price rate. However, Jessica was very trustworthy to just inform us of this to be prepared for next time, and still only charged us the originally quoted price. She had nothing but great things to say about our sweet big guy, gave us some great feedback to try to train him to get up & stay on the table on his own, and said she was so proud of him, which was truly special to hear! We'll definitely be a returning customer! Thank you again for everything!

Terrible smell

While shopping the store smelled terrible. Terrible terrible terrible. I thought they were cleaning fish tank. Perhaps they took on water during Ida? I do not know. When home, the items I purchased there also stank. I left them in garage over night. When I went out this morn there were actual worms on the cardboard surrounding some wet food packs I purchased. Disgusting. What is worse our dog pooped in house last night like bad diarrhea. Did she eat something contaminated. Headed to vet. I’ve been in this store before w no issues but this was horrible. Trust your nose people. I should have.
